Pine Trees

This project involves the extension and remodelling of a detached 1960’s house in Woldingham Village. We were asked to extend and remodel the house and update the living accommodation to suit modern family living.

The proposed works comprise re-planning the existing confused ground floor layout to provide a large open plan kitchen-dining-living space to the rear. A contemporary glazed extension to the rear, steps down in section, to follow the natural slope of the site and provide unobstructed views to the garden. A first floor side extension provides a new principle bedroom suite above the existing garage.

The exterior of the house was remodelled with buff brickwork, larch cladding and new aluminium framed windows and doors. The old inefficient warm air heating system will be replaced with new underfloor heating fed from an air source heat pump.
